Explosive Training

173rd Airborne Brigade

SkySoldiers with the 54th Brigade Engineer Battalion (Airborne) provided training and knowledge exchange with infantry paratroopers from 2nd Battalion, 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment, training them on some highly lethal explosive devices in during the brigade field training exercise at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, July 23, 2020.

The training enabled Infantrymen and Sappers to inegrate and learn about explosive capabilities that will enhance their small unit tactics in the future.

The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army's Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deployable forces to the United States Europe, Africa and Central Command areas of responsibility. Forward deployed across Italy and Germany, the brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies and partners to build partnerships and strengthen the alliance.
