Lt. Col. Rhonda M. Booth is a native of Tampa, Florida. She enlisted in the Florida Army National Guard in March of 1995. She completed Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, SC and Advanced Individual Training at Fort Sam Houston, TX where she was awarded the Military Occupational Specialty of Combat Medic. She enlisted in the active component in May of 1997. She commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Transportation Corps after completing Officers Candidate School at Fort Benning, GA in December of 2006.
Lt. Col. Booth’s assignments as a Commissioned Officer include; 7th Transportation Battalion (Airborne), 82nd Sustainment Brigade (Airborne), Ft. Liberty, NC; 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, and Supply and Transportation Troop Ft. Irwin, CA; Expeditionary Warfare Training Group Pacific, San Diego, CA; Operations Group, Ft. Irwin, CA; 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne) , 173rd Brigade Support Battalion (Airborne), Vicenza, Italy; Special Operations Command Europe, Stuttgart, Germany; and Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Special Troops Battalion, United States Army Combined Arms Center, Fort Leavenworth, KS. LTC Booth’s previous assignment was as the Command Inspector General, United States Army Combined Arms Center, Ft. Leavenworth, KS.
Lt. Col. Booth holds a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Critical Incident Management from Saint Leo University. She is a graduate of the California Police Academy, San Diego, CA.
Lt. Col. Lt. Col. Booth is married to Corrine Eaves, and they have two sons and two daughters-in-law, Justin and Megan Lighthizer and Tyler and Celine Booth.
