173rd Airborne Brigade

Sky Soldiers with 2nd Battalion, 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment "The Rock" spent a week in Cao Malnisio, Italy training small unit tactics, techniques and procedures further enhancing their lethality.

Training ranged from individual weapons mrksmanship all the way up to platoon situational tactical exercises. This ensured that all paratroopers with "The Rock" can carry out their missions in a coordinated and effective manner keeping them combat ready.

The 173rd Airborne Brigade is the U.S. Army's Contingency Response Force in Europe, providing rapidly deployable forces to the United States Europe, Africa and Central Command areas of responsibility. Forward deployed across Italy and Germany, the brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies and partners to build partnerships and strengthen the alliance.
